PRESS RELEASE: Street Lane Closure begins Monday, June 22, 2026, for a watermain replacement project at the intersection of 1st Avenue North and 17th Street North in Moorhead.

For Immediate Release on Thursday, June 18, 2026

Beginning Monday, June 22, 2026, eastbound and westbound traffic on 1st Avenue North between 17th Street and 15th Street North will be reduced to one lane to replace the watermain. 17th Street North will be closed between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue North. This lane closure is expected to last ten days, weather permitting.

Motorists should follow all traffic control signage or find an alternate route during the project.
