Capture The Wind^® Turbine Construction Tour

Welcome to the Capture The Wind Turbine Construction Tour. In 1998, Moorhead Public Service started construction of its first wind turbine (affectionately referred to as "Zephyr").

Construction of Zephyr was made possible with the support of 437 customers who signed up to participate as Charter Members in the Capture The Wind program. Their dedication shows our community's commitment to support clean, renewable energy projects. Their efforts have changed the skyline of Moorhead forever.
