Moorhead Public Service (MPS) is proud to announce that the best tasting water in Minnesota is found right here in Moorhead! For two years in a row (2009 and 2010), at its annual conference in Duluth, Minnesota, the Minnesota Section of the American Water Works Association awarded Moorhead with the "Best in Glass" award.

Moorhead competed against other Minnesota cities for this award. Water industry professionals attending the conference tasted water samples from all nine competing communities and voted on the best tasting. The top three vote recipients competed in a panel of experts and Moorhead came out on top in 2009 and 2010! With this award, Moorhead's water will now compete nationally at the AWWA Annual Conference held in Washington, D.C., in June 2011.

MPS would like to congratulate and thank all the MPS Water Division employees for their hard work to ensure we have great water in Moorhead!
