Moorhead Public Service (MPS) has completed its Annual Hydrant Inspection Program (Program) for 2011. This Program began on May 16, 2011.
The primary purpose of this Program is to verify, on an annual basis, the proper operation of all public fire hydrants in the city of Moorhead and Oakport Township. There were approximately 1,600 public fire hydrants tested during this process. A pro-active hydrant maintenance program is one key to ensuring that the City of Moorhead maintains good fire protection throughout the community. Your patience during this Annual Hydrant Inspection Program has been greatly appreciated.
MPS is a community-owned utility serving the residents of Moorhead, Minnesota, with electricity and water. ###
