Moorhead Public Service crews have completed the repair work on a watermain break at the intersection of Main Avenue and Fourth Street in Moorhead; however, the roadway repair/restoration work has been delayed due to wet weather.

Moorhead Public Service’s restoration contractor began the roadway repair/restoration work on Monday, May 10. With wet weather in the forecast, the contractor has delayed the roadway repair/restoration work until the wet weather passes. It is anticipated that the roadway repair/restoration work will be completed by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 12.

As a result of the delay, eastbound traffic on Main Avenue and Fourth Street will continue to be reduced to one lane until 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 12. Motorists should use caution in this area and are encouraged to use alternate routes during the repair work.
