Main Avenue Lane to be Closed for Watermain Repair

Moorhead Public Service (MPS) is announcing a lane closure in south Moorhead beginning Monday morning, September 29, 2008, to repair a watermain.

The south lane of eastbound traffic on Main Avenue from Fifth Street to Seventh Street will be blocked off as crews complete the repair of the broken watermain.  The lane closure is expected to last most of the week.  Eastbound traffic will still be allowed to pass through; however, traffic will need to compress to one lane.

MPS is a community-owned utility serving the residents of Moorhead, Minnesota, with electricity, water, and broadband Internet access.
